The Evil Within launches today on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. To celebrate Bethesda has released the game’s launch trailer, which definitely provides the scares. Flashing through various scenes from the game, the highlight of course being Box Head, the trailer shows off a lot of the praise the game received ahead of release.

The game follows Detective Sebastian Castellanos as he investigates a grisly murder scene. After an attack from an unknown force, Castellanos awakes to find himself in a deranged world filled with horrible monsters. He’ll have to fight to survive, while trying to unravel the mysteries surrounding his attack and the world he has found himself in.
The Evil Within is highly anticipated for looking like a truly scary game and a return to classic survival-horror mechanics, as well as the return of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami to the genre. With that series’ descent into more and more action-heavy titles, fans have been hoping that The Evil Within would bring back the scares.
