The Final Fantasy XV Demo Could Have A Save Option

The Final Fantasy XV demo could be one of the first demos ever to add a save option. Normally demos are too short to allow you to save your progress.

The editor of Novacrystallis.com (MakuXV) tweeted out some interesting photos from a recent stream of the game. The photo showed the main menu for the Final Fantasy demo. It says: New Game, Load Game and Config. There was also a Debug Menu, although this won’t appear in the actual demo going out to the public.

The fact that the main menu of the Final Fantasy XV demo has a “Load Game” option means you might be able save your game. Whether or not your save will be able to be transferred to the full game remains to be seen. Square Enix did hint that the demo is just a section of the game, and isn’t necessarily the true beginning.

MakuXV also shared a new screen from Final Fantasy XV that shows Noctis standing inside a stream. The photo was taken off-screen, but it still looks very beautiful. Square Enix mentioned the game currently runs at 1080p with 30fps.

Gamers can get to play the Final Fantasy XV demo themselves next month when they buy Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
