Naughty Dog pondering the possibility of The Last of Us 2

Naughty Dog developers Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley say that there’s a 50/50 chance of The Last of Us seeing a sequel. The developers who recently participated in an AMA, told fans that there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing more The Last of Us in the future.

The question was posed: How good are the chances of us entering the world of The Last of Us again? To which Neil Druckmann replied: “If you’re asking about a sequel… right now I’d say it’s 50/50”.

If Naughty Dog decides to do a sequel to The Last of Us, we likely won’t be seeing it for some time. Naughty Dog just recently released the first story downloadable content for the PS3 title, titled “Left Behind”, and they’ve still got multiplayer DLC on the way.

Naughty Dog does have other irons in the fire. Last year, they announced that a new Uncharted game would arrive on the PlayStation 4. The AMA did not shed any new light on Uncharted 4.
