The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a gorgeous game in a number of ways. Sure, it isn’t the most graphically impressive title out there, featuring textures and technology that would fit right in a few years ago. But the design and art that has gone into making this game come to life is truly something to behold. Nowhere is this more gorgeously exemplified than in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s title screens.
Opening Breath of the Wild takes you to its title screen only after starting the game for the first time, saving, then completely shutting down the game. Given the fact that this game is so great, read more about that right here, and that there’s not much else to play on these early access Nintendo Switch’s right now, and reviewers would be forgiven if they’ve never actually turned the game off. Luckily, I have, and I made sure to grab the whole thing for you.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s title screen is always moving and changing, so while the screenshot above is really nice, the real magic is when they’re all in motion. It will cycle between the various images, and the larger vistas are actually layered in a way that gives the images more life and depth. It’s a nice effect and adds a lot to the already wonderful pieces of art.
This is just one small aspect of what I’ve enjoyed so far of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Be sure to check out my full hands-on preview, linked above, and let me know what you want to know most about the game. I can’t share everything, but I’ll try to answer questions as best I can in the comments below or on any article about the game.
