Ready at Dawn, the developers behind one of this year’s biggest PlayStation 4 exclusives, could be aiming for multi-platform releases for their future titles.  In a recent interview with Game Informer, Paul Sams revealed that while the company shares a healthy relationship with Sony, their engine and technology is capable of multi-platform releases.

“It’s hard to imagine not seeing our future games on one or more of the Sony platforms,” said Sams.  “At the same time, we have worked very hard to make sure that our engine and technology suite is multi-platform.  What we did on the PS4 for The Order: 1886, we can also do today on Xbox One, PC, and on an additional unannounced platform.”

So should Xbox One and PC owners be expecting The Order on those platforms any time soon?  No, but it sounds like Sams is confident that other platforms could host a visually impressive title such as The Order.  The interview also reveals that Ready at Dawn is looking to expand into self-publishing, which could bring their future titles to non-Sony platforms in the future.

Their latest effort saw a lot of mixed reviews.  The Order: 1886 was scorched by critics earlier this year, and currently holds a 63 on Metacritic.
