Bandai Namco has finally set a release date for The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, the videogame based on the popular anime available on Netflix. The game is launching in North America and Europe on February 9, with Japan receiving it a bit earlier, on January 25. Knights of Britannia is a fighting game with RPG touches featuring a visual style imitating the look of the anime, and set in locations directly taken from the show.
Hardcore fans of the anime will be excited to know that the game offers a first look at one of the main cast additions to the upcoming ‘Revival of The Commandments’ season of the anime. We are talking about Escanor, the Lion’s Sin of Pride, who is playable along with all the rest of main characters. Escanor is famous for his great amount of power during the day, although he weakens during nocturne hours. The new season will launch on spring 2018 in the West, and will be available as free DLC for all owners of the game, which is a very powerful selling point for any fan of the series.
Additionally, those who preorder Knights of Britannia will get a set of formal outfits for the characters Ban, Diane, Escanor, Gowther, Hawk, King, Meliodas, and Merlin.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia launches for PS4 on January 25 in Japan and February 9 in North America and Europe. Watch a new trailer below.
