The Battlefield series has long been highly regarded as the best shooter to mix first person shooting, and vehicles to come up with the amazing battles that the game consists of. Regardless of your taste of vehicle, Battlefield has always had something to offer. It looks like Battlefield 3 will be no different, as a recently compiled list of vehicles has surfaced from Gamers Book.

LAV-25 : eight-wheeled amphibious reconnaissance vehicle

BMP-2 : amphibious infantry fighting vehicle

2K22M : self-propelled anti-aircraft tank

M1 Abrams : U.S. main battle tank

T-90 : Russian main battle tank

HMMWV : four-wheel drive motor vehicle, more commonly known as a Humvee

Technical : improvised fighting vehicle, typically a truck fitted with a mounted machine gun

UH-1Y : medium size utility helicopter

AH-6J : light helicopter used for special operations

F-16 : U.S. developed fighter jet

Su-35 : Russian heavy, long-range fighter jet

UH-60 : medium lift utility helicopter, commonly known as Black Hawk

F/A-18 : carrier-based fighter jet that can use air-to-surface weapons

CH-53D : heavy lift transport helicopter

DICE hasn’t confirmed the official list of vehicles in the game at this point.  These are the ones that have been seen in the trailers up until today.  With this list already quite large, there’s no telling if DICE has even more up their sleeve for an E3 reveal.  Something tells me they do.

Battlefield 3 is tenatively scheduled for a November 2011 release date, where EA is looking forward to doing battle with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
