The Nintendo 3DS has had themes for a little while in Japan, but they will be coming Stateside in the latest update. System update 9.0.0 will add in the option to alter your entire home screen with various themes. Five will be given away for free as part of the update, while others will be offered via a new Theme Store. The new themes aren’t just cosmetic though, they will also feature new music, sound effects, and animations. You’ll be able to check out all of the available themes once the Theme Store is added as part of this new update.
