Titanfall 2 is in development for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, according to Respawn Entertainment’s founder Vince Zampella.  In recent comments made to IGN, Zampella revealed what had been rumored for some time, a sequel to Titanfall is coming and it will arrive on PlayStation this time around.

“I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or… yeah. So we’re working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform,” revealed the developer.

A sequel had been alluded to numerous times in interviews over the last year, but these latest comments from Zampella should be good news to PlayStation fans.  Unfortunately Zampella didn’t much more to offer in terms of what to expect from Titanfall 2.  Hopefully, they’ll let players dig deeper into the lore behind Titanfall.

Titanfall 2 does not have a release date at this point, but don’t be surprised to hear more about the game when EA decides it’s time to make their official announcement.
