Titanfall 2 is in development for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, according to Respawn Entertainment’s founder Vince Zampella. Â In recent comments made to IGN, Zampella revealed what had been rumored for some time, a sequel to Titanfall is coming and it will arrive on PlayStation this time around.
“I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or… yeah. So we’re working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform,” revealed the developer.
A sequel had been alluded to numerous times in interviews over the last year, but these latest comments from Zampella should be good news to PlayStation fans. Â Unfortunately Zampella didn’t much more to offer in terms of what to expect from Titanfall 2. Â Hopefully, they’ll let players dig deeper into the lore behind Titanfall.
Titanfall 2 does not have a release date at this point, but don’t be surprised to hear more about the game when EA decides it’s time to make their official announcement.
