Normally you would have to pre-order Tom Clancy’s The Division to enter its closed beta happening in a few day’s time. However, it looks like some regions will be getting the beta for free as an open beta instead.

As reported by XboxOneUK, you can enter the beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division in Singapore. All you have to do is visit Xbox.com and change your region to Singapore. If you turn on your Xbox One, it should be in your download list ready to be installed if you clicked on the link on Xbox.com.

Changing your region to Singapore is the most important part. If you don’t do that and try to download it, it won’t work. Some NeoGAF users noticed that the same thing is available for people over in Hong Kong and Australia as well.

Bear in mind, the success rate my vary for some users. Some people have reported they have been able to download the beta successfully. Others have not been able to download it by changing their regions for some reason.

The most guaranteed way to play the beta is simply by pre-ordering the game. You can also just sign up on the official Tom Clancy’s The Division website for an invite. However, invites are just given out randomly and you might not get picked.
