There may not have been a new Transformers movie in theaters this year, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t getting a brand game. Transformers Devastation was leaked before E3 and the big surprise was that Platinum Games was involved, which mean fast-paced action is a definite, and it sounds like it will be a very smooth experience.

According to DualShockers, producer Robert Conkey from Platinum Games spoke at Gamescom about Transformers Devastation and really boasted about the game’s ability to run at 60 FPS on all platforms. This even includes the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, though he did say those could see a dip in frame rate in really action heavy scenarios.

They also revealed that it will hit 1080p on both Xbox One and PS4, though only 720p on Xbox 360 and PS3, which isn’t really any big surprise. The PC version of course is dependent on your setup.

The director of Tranformers Devastation, Kenji Saito, also directed the incredibly fun Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, who along with Conkey discussed how they were big fans of the series. As a result, the animation style of the old series was a big influence on the art style of this game as well.

Look for Transformers Devastation to arrive for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 6.
