Ubisoft Is Planning On Punishing Players Who Used The Division Boss Exploit In Falcon Lost Incursion

The Division’s much awaited 1.1 update launched last week as a free patch that changed some things while also adding new features like item trading and the first Incursion in the game. Since that launch, some gamers have discovered an exploit in the Falcon Lost Incursion to more easily beat it, but Ubisoft is planning to drop the hammer on those who are cheating.

Soon after the 1.1 update went live and players got to try out the Falcon Lost Incursion, people were obviously trying to look for some of the best strategies to stay alive, as this is the hardest mission in the game by far.

However, soon some found an exploit that allowed you to more easily beat the Incursion and in turn get excellent gear as well, giving these players and unfair advantage over others in The Dark Zone.

Thankfully, Ubisoft is not taking this exploit lightly as this is much more than something like Destiny’s loot cave. A member of the development team said the following on the Ubisoft forums.

“We are working on fixing the exploit. Obviously it is against our Code of Conduct and the team is looking into what can be done in terms of punishment for those who have exploited.”

It is great to see that they are planning on doing something to try and rebalance the game to where these exploiters aren’t jumping so far ahead of everyone else. It will definitely be interesting to see what exactly they do, but for now we are not sure.
