Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End topped the UK video game charts once again by beating out the likes of Doom 2016 and even Homefront: The Revolution.
As reported by GFK Chart-Track, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End remained on top even though sales declined by a pretty steep 78 percent compared to last week.
Doom 2016 held the same spot it had last week and sales only dipped by an impressive 35 percent. It was close to dethroning Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but in the end it was not enough to overtake it for the top spot.
Homefront: The Revolution managed to debut at number 3 despite receiving minimal marketing and lackluster reviews. The first game debuted at number 1 back in 2011, so this sequel was not able to gain any traction.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 still hangs on impressively as sales for that game didn’t drop at all. Sales stayed level compared to last week and this is thanks to the new DLC pack that finally came out for Xbox One and PC owners.
Other new releases fared well such as Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest placing at number 5 and number 11 on the sales chart respectively. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 also sold well as it was in the number 6 position.
