Naughty Dog has added in a new feature to the Uncharted series. There will be branching dialogue in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

As revealed during Sony’s PlayStation Experience keynote, a new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was shown at the event. The cutscene showed showed that the player has the option to choose dialogue.

The cutscene showed Nathan Drake meeting his brother for the first time. Players have the option to tell Sam the adventures that Nathan had done in the past. This is interesting because the Uncharted series has always been a linear experience until now.

It’s likely there will be more options for the player to do in the full game. It will be interesting if the dialogue allows you to partake in different missions as well. We’ll just have to wait and see when the full game comes out.
