Progress is being made in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as Naughty Dog has made a playable build of the multiplayer mode already.

Uncharted 4’s lead game designer, Robert Cogburn, tweeted:

“Epic match between MP team and QA MP team today. Of course, the MP team won”

Even though Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until Spring 2016, it’s a good sign that the multiplayer portion is somewhat playable already. It sounds like Naughty Dogs is making good progress with the game’s development so far.

As for the multiplayer in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Naughty Dog has plans to make it feel meaningful and fun. They don’t want the multiplayer to feel like an unwanted extra that was just added in at the last second.

Naughty Dog brought in members from The Last of Us to help develop the multiplayer portion of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. This is a good move as the multiplayer in that game was well received.

Sony is likely to share more gameplay footage from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End very soon at E3 2015. It’s been close to six months since the last gameplay footage was released. Here’s hoping some of the multiplayer from the game is shared too.
