Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End To Feature Larger Multiplayer Maps

Naughty Dog is currently working diligently on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It appears the end game will have some pretty big multiplayer maps.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s lead game designer, Robert Cogburn, tweeted a few days ago: “Played the 3 largest maps we have in the game yesterday. So awesome people from the office come by and share their stories after a playtest

It is good news that some of the maps will be larger than the others. This is an indication that there is variety in the level design. It will be boring if all of the maps are around the same size.

Cogburn mentioned in a later tweet that they should be sharing more from the multiplayer mode very soon. Aside from the beta, a lot of the game’s marketing has focused heavily on the single player mode. Multiplayer in Uncharted games grew in popularity after the second game included it.

Naughty Dog has had to delay the game twice now as they are wanting to release the game without any flaws. The delay is mainly due to the single player mode as they want the finale to impress long-time fans. The multiplayer portion seems to be on schedule.
