Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Will Have Playable Vehicles

It looks like vehicles might be playable for you to drive in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

There have been lots of vehicles in Uncharted games, but Nathan Drake was never driving them. The only thing that comes close is horse riding in the third game.

Naughty Dog has now confirmed that vehicles will be playable in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. They confirmed this during an interview in the June issue of Skewed and Reviewed: The Magazine.

Sadly, Naughty Dog didn’t elaborate any further on how playable vehicles will actually work in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Skewed and Reviewed’s editor told me that Naughty Dog is “not prepared to talk about them at this time“.

From the same interview, we may not see any multiplayer from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End anytime soon either. Naughty Dog said “you’ll have to wait a bit longer before we are ready to reveal more“.

A sentence like that strongly suggests E3 2015 will only show more footage from the single player campaign of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The multiplayer mode is still in its infancy.

Other parts from the new interview have things we already know about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Things like the game will be in 1080p and that more animation is being done to make the gameplay feel smoother.
