Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has a whole lot of hype to live up to when it releases next month, though the game will apparently have an ending that will divide the audience.

The game’s director, Neil Druckmann, recently spoke with IGN about the ending of the game, saying that “I think people will discuss the ending. If focus tests are anything to go by, there will be some arguments about the ending. I’m excited. Indifference would be the worst thing. I would rather have people hate it than be indifferent to it. We’ll see how they react.”

Druckmann was then asked if protagonist Nathan Drake would survive the experience, to which he replied laughingly with “Do you really want me to tell you? You don’t really want me to tell you.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set to launch exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on May 10th.
