The demo for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is available to download now from the PlayStation Store. The demo comes in at a sizable 6.9GB, and features the fifth chapter of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, titled Urban Warfare. Although not one of Uncharted 2’s standout sequences (there’s no train or attack helicopter to be seen here), chapter 5 does showcase a lot of what makes Uncharted so special for so many people: the platforming, the shooting and Nathan Drake’s charm and wit.

The full game, of course, features all three console Uncharted games, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, all with improved graphics, framerate and brand new modes. Unfortunately, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, a PlayStation Vita exclusive, didn’t make the cut, with Naughty Dog not thinking it a necessary addition in the build-up to Uncharted 4. There’ll be no multiplayer of any kind either, with the exception of an Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a little over a week away from release, with Uncharted 4 scheduled to be released next March.

Neil Druckmann, creative director of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and The Last of Us, has recently gone on record to confirm the reasons behind Uncharted 4’s delay, stating that the studio needed more time in order to fulfill their ambitions for the game’s ending.
