Last week, Adult Swim curiously announced that it would be teaming up with Valve for a still unannounced project to be unveiled this week. Valve stated that the popular “Meet the…” series of animated shorts would be returning this Wednesday with the long-awaited Pyro installment. While we wait to hear confirmation that Valve will be debuting the video on Adult Swim’s block of late-night programming, you’ll be happy to hear that you can pass the time by indulging in three days worth of new Team Fortress 2 content.
The update, dubbed by Valve as “Pyromania,” begins today with the release of a new map and game mode called “Doomsday” in which one team must deliver a suitcase with a nuke inside while the other team must prevent them from doing so.
The update will add 11 new achievements as Valve unloads new TF2 content each day leading up to the Wednesday premiere of “Meet the Pyro.”
