Warwick Davis is known to many fans as the person who played Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. He has now confirmed that he will be in Star Wars: Episode 8.

Warwick confirmed this news during an interview with News.com.au. He just said that he has a role in the film, and that’s all he could say for now.

He also confirmed that Star Wars: Episode 8 will be similar to The Empire Strikes Back in terms of powerful story moments. He also said that much like The Force Awakens, there will be a few cliffhangers that will carry over to the next episode.

He said: Obviously we’re moving into the territory of Episode VIII very soon as well, and much like Empire Strikes Back I’m sure it’s going to deliver some quite impactful story moments, and it’ll leave us with some cliffhangers as well which resolve in Episode IX.

There were a lot of unanswered questions in The Force Awakens. The identity of Snoke is yet to be determined and everyone wants to know who Rey’s parents are. Not to mention Luke’s lightsaber being in a treasure chest in Maz’s castle is yet to be explained too.
