If you are playing online multiplayer in Halo 5: Guardians, you may want to look out for the shotgun being used by other players.
343 Industries’ Josh Holmes recently tweeted out: “Shotgun is super powerful in H5G. That’s intentional. One thing we’ve changed since the build played tonight is clip size (down to 5 shots)“.
He didn’t stop there either. Apparently, the range has been increased for the shotgun in Halo 5: Guardians as well. Normally shotguns are a short-ranged weapon…
It’s interesting to see how this will affect the online multiplayer for the game. It sounds like the shotgun could be one of the most powerful weapons in the entire game. Some might say the weapon could be too overpowered judging by how Holmes is describing it.
Although in this day and age, 343 Industries could easily make an update patch to balance out the shotgun if it becomes a problem for too many gamers. I wouldn’t want shotgun players killing me all the time if it is as powerful as Holmes says it is.
We’ll just have to wait until October 27th to see how powerful the shotgun really is. If the shotgun in Halo 5: Guardians is too powerful, I’m sure there will be a few complaints from players…
