The Daredevil Season Two trailer nicely setup the upcoming showdown between the Man without Fear and the Punisher. But, you haven’t really seen it until you’ve witnessed Jon Bernthal remade in Fallout 4. YouTuber UpIsNotJump has recreated the trailer in Bethesda’s game and it is a must watch.
Recreating the Daredevil trailer in Fallout 4 came thanks to the use of 19 different mods used in the game. Everything from the Punisher costume to Matt Murdoch’s round glasses to the cop outfit and the priest all came thanks to the magic of mods. UpIsNotJump helpfully supplied the entire list in the description of the YouTube video and they can be downloaded from NexusMods.
The only thing missing? Elodie Young’s appearance at the end of the trailer as Electra. Still, UpIsNotJump did a thoroughly convincing job of recreating Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Bernthal, Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), and Elden Henson (Foggy) in Fallout 4. Only Daredevil’s costume throws the recreation attempt off slightly thanks to the Mass Effect N7 logo.
A blooper reel is also included at the end of the trailer to show off some of the occasionally wonky physics and the effort it took to add blood splatters into the trailer.
The second season Daredevil will return to Netflix on March 18. All 13 episodes will be available to watch when it premiers.
