It looks like some Star Wars Battlefront DLC news is not coming our way anytime soon. We have to wait a few more weeks to hear what else is coming to the game.
A fan wanted to know when new DLC and/or Season Pass details will be posted about Star Wars Battlefront. The EA Star Wars Twitter page had an answer.
They said: “Keep an eye out on our official channels. We will have more details on the Season Pass and DLC in the weeks ahead.”
It sounds like we won’t be hearing any substantial news about the game’s DLC in January. Hopefully something is revealed in February at least.
It’s interesting that EA and DICE did not reveal any DLC information when Star Wars fever is at its highest thanks to the release of The Force Awakens.
Sadly, the Twitter page reiterated yet again that the DLC will only focus on original trilogy content. There will be no content from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens or the prequel trilogy.
They replied to a fan: “Currently we are focused on the original Trilogy of films. We have no other content plans to announce at this time“.
The next DLC for Star Wars Battlefront is expected to come out in early 2016. Whatever the content is, it should be coming our way in the next few weeks.
