It has now been revealed that women will be playable in Star Wars Battlefront.

Swedish magazine, “Level”, printed a new article about Star Wars Battlefront. It was confirmed that women will be playable in the new game.

Women were already featured in Battlefront 2. A female soldier was playable on the Rebel side. There were also a few Hero/Villain characters that were playable too like Princess Leia, Aalya Secura and more.

It’s very possible more female soldiers and characters will be playable in the new Star Wars Battlefront game. With Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out, one of the major villains is a female. It was revealed not too long ago that Gwendoline Christie is playing Captain Phasma. This character is the cool looking chrome-colored stormtrooper featured in the latest teaser trailer.

EA and DICE have not revealed any more details about the Heros/Villains in Star Wars Battlefront yet. The only major characters we know that are in the game include Darth Vader and Boba Fett. We can be sure this list will grow as more about the game is revealed.

The article also says that DICE knows a lot of details about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, they have not any rough cut of the full film yet. It’s likely post production is still ongoing.

Star Wars Battlefront releases November 17th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
