WWE 2K16: 2K Talks Differences Between PS4/Xbox One Over PS3/Xbox 360 Versions

2K Games has explained in a little more detail about the differences WWE 2K16 has between the current and past-gen versions.

Examiner had a chance to interview Chris Snyder VP of Marketing at 2K Sports. He talked about how the newer consoles are able to do more than the older ones.

Snyder said the differences in graphics are as clear as “night and day” and that they were able to do more with the visuals for PS4 and Xbox One.

As for the scanning process, Snyder claims 2K “scanned pretty much everyone in the WWE“. He also says the game packs a ton of content that they have maxed out the disc capacity for the PS3/Xbox 360 version. For the PS4/Xbox One version, there is a lot more space they can use.

Snyder admits that there is “parity between the two” versions of WWE 2K16. Not to mention the MyCareer mode is not even available on the last-gen. However, he feels developing for both current and last-gen does not take away any time from making the game better for the newer generation.

Many other game publishers/developers have concentrated only on PC or the newer consoles only. It looks like 2K Games is happy to still provide something for older console owners even though they might not be as flashy as the newer machines.
