2K Games is currently investigating a save data issue in WWE 2K17 affecting some users. The issue is created when people download wrestlers online.
Community Manager Bryan Vore was notified of the WWE 2K17 issues and posted an announcement on the official forums. He said: “It has come to our attention that some users have reported that certain Custom Superstars downloaded from the server have caused save data issues. We are looking into the reports as a top priority and hope to have a solution ASAP. We are aware of and noting other feedback on the game as well. We will provide an update to the community in this thread as soon as we have news.”
It sounds like some users download wrestlers and then the save data gets erased. If you want to be on the safe side, don’t download wrestlers online until this matter is resolved.
