A new app is being released on Xbox Live from Pizza Hut, which allows Xbox 360 users to order pizza from the console’s dashboard. Â Like other Xbox Live apps, you’ll need to download the program to use it, but once you do, you’ll find a robust suite of pizza ordering tools.
You can customize your pizza to your liking, place an order for delivery or carry-out from the nearest location, with either the standard controller or by issuing the app Kinect commands. Â Pizza Hut and others have been offering similar tools online for years now, but this is the first time we’ve seen Microsoft partner with a company to deliver food to their users.
“Xbox Live’s Major Nelson told Polygon that “Pizza Hut has always showed affinity for new ways to order products. Â Now we can do it on console. Â The app was a logical progression.”
The Pizza Hut app will be available for Xbox Live members on Tuesday, April 23rd.  Those who order their first pie before May 6th will receive a 15% discount on their first purchase.
