The Xbox One is once again getting another notable price drop, as Microsoft has announced that the prices for consoles and bundles have been dropped by $50. This puts the 500GB Xbox One model at $299, whereas the 1TB model is now $319.

The announcement was made on the official Xbox website, and the deal is already in effect at places like Amazon and the Microsoft Store. The latter is offering a fantastic deal on a 1TB Xbox One model, as you can currently get one bundled with an extra controller and 5 games for $319.

As of this writing, it has not been confirmed whether or not this price drop is temporary or permanent, though the console had a similar price drop earlier this year that was only for a limited time. If you’re interested in picking up an Xbox One then now is the time to do it.

It was recently rumored that the Xbox One will be getting two new versions in the future, with one of them being a slimmer model launching later this year and the other a vastly more powerful one launching in 2017. While details on both models are obviously sparse, it is suggested that the slimmer model will be upping the storage space to 2TB.
