It looks like the latest Xbox One preview update allows gamers to record and share their gameplay in a smooth 60fps.

As reported by Xbox Mad, several preview members have been using this new feature already. An upcoming Xbox One update will allow users to record their gameplay in 60fps. You can share and let others view the smooth 60fps gameplay as well.

The ability to record Xbox One gameplay in 60fps was a much requested feature. It looks pretty cool as many users have shared some game clips already. Xbox user, Mr Xbob uploaded a short video from Halo: The Master Chief Collection. If you click on the link, you can see how much smoother 60fps gameplay looks like. Another website named Xbox DVR, shared a short game clip of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood running on the Xbox One at 60fps.

You can record 60fps gameplay directly with Game DVR. Even though the videos are really short, the end results look pretty amazing. Bear in mind, Microsoft has yet to officially announce such details so this is a rumor for now. Although looking at the videos themselves, I can see that they have been recorded in actual 60fps. They look smoother than the average YouTube video.
