Xbox One has been out for awhile now and Microsoft has been very good about providing us with a number of Xbox One updates in that time span, rather than the much more spread out updates seen on PlayStation. As a result, some months have had much smaller updates, including the last few that have mostly just added onto existing features. However, it sounds like Microsoft has some big things in store on the Xbox One update front at E3.
The June update Xbox One update is already out for preview members and it is pretty minimal for the most part, but Program Manager Emily Hanson teased some big things coming in private preview forums, which have been provided by Dualshockers.
“If this month feels a little light, don’t worry – we are working on some planned *BIG* E3 announcements. In the meantime, we will be continuing to preview the items previously released to continue to get feedback and work towards making them available to everyone, so keep that feedback coming!”
Hopefully this E3 announcement will finally bring some of the most requested features in the next Xbox One update, though they have already provided us with many of those already. Either way, you can count on Microsoft bringing the big guns to their E3 conference next month.
