Your PS4 And Xbox One Console Is Only Worth $200 At Gamestop

If for some reason you want to trade in your PS4 or Xbox One console at Gamestop, it is only worth $200 with in-store credit.

Gamestop made the announcement on the trade values on its official website today. The 500GB models of the PS4 and Xbox One consoles are worth $200 each with in-store credit.

This is much lower than the $350 retail value for the consoles. This is not surprising as Gamestop is a pawn shop and won’t make a profit if they pay customers more for their consoles. They did not list the values for any 1TB PS4 or Xbox One consoles yet, but you can always ask your local retailer for the price.

The trade-in value for a Wii U is much lower as they will only pay out $100 for Nintendo’s console. A New 3DS XL console is also worth $100. The PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles are worth only $75 and $55 respectively.

It goes without saying that the trade-in values only count if you have a working console with all the accessories and cables intact. Gamestop is unlikely to accept your console if it’s in a very poor condition of if you are missing any necessary parts.
