Are you tired of playing on Final Destination, Battlefield or whatever other stages Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has to offer? If so, then you’ll be happy to know that you might be able to soon build your own stages if a recent commercial is any indication.
The commercial in question depicts a kid finally unlocking Inkling before going to play with his friends and terrorizing them with a deluge of ink. However, the pertinent part takes place before any of that, around the 0:02 mark, where we clearly see a tab labeled “Stage Builder” on the lower right of the main menu.
This isn’t the first time a Stage Builder was in a Smash title, as both Smash Bros. Brawl and Smash Bros. for the Wii U had similar modes of their own, so seeing here isn’t all too surprising. If anything, the only thing worth questioning at this point is when it will arrive. And at this point, that time is most likely at the end of April when the highly-anticipated 3.0 update launches which will herald the arrival of Persona 5’s Joker, as well as (hopefully) some balancing.
