The JP Morgan banker who accused his colleague of drugging and coercing him has now filed again, and the new details are hard to read

Chirayu Rana, the former JP Morgan banker who previously made headlines for his allegations against a colleague, has officially filed a second lawsuit containing a new series of intense claims. As detailed by BroBible, the refiling follows an initial round of accusations that went viral, drawing significant attention to the professional relationship between Rana and his former coworker, Lorna Hajdini.

In the initial legal filing, Rana accused Hajdini of drugging him, forcing him into non-consensual sexual acts, and using racial slurs against him and his wife. JP Morgan responded by launching an internal investigation, which ultimately found no evidence of wrongdoing on Hajdini’s part. A spokesperson for JP Morgan stated, “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,” adding that while many employees cooperated with the process, the complainant refused to participate and did not provide facts sufficient to support his allegations.

Following that internal review, the initial court document was redacted and withdrawn for corrections. The second lawsuit now brings fresh, specific allegations into the public eye.

The new filing reads like something out of a crime thriller

The new lawsuit claims that Hajdini attempted to coerce both Rana and a witness into a threesome. The filing includes an account from a witness described as a family friend of Rana, who says he was staying at an apartment while visiting New York City when Hajdini woke him in the middle of the night. According to the document, Hajdini was completely naked when she woke the witness.

The witness claims Hajdini sat on the couch where he was sleeping, lit a cigarette, and began begging him to join them in the bedroom. Despite the witness refusing several times, the filing alleges that Hajdini told him, “you know I own [redacted], so you better come join.” Amid growing public scrutiny over how companies handle misconduct allegations, including a Texas influencer sentenced to 40 years for abuse he tried to cover up, cases like Rana’s are drawing renewed attention to patterns of alleged coercion and power imbalance.

The witness further claims that after Hajdini returned to the bedroom, he could hear Rana pleading with her to stop, saying, “No, no, no, you have to leave. I’m not going to do this. Please stop.” The lawsuit suggests that Hajdini threatened Rana with trouble if he did not comply and that he expressed concerns she was blackmailing him.

The new lawsuit also includes allegations about language used by Hajdini. The same unnamed witness claims that in September 2024, he heard Hajdini speaking to Rana as they entered an apartment building and recalled her saying something that sounded like, “I own you, Brownie.” This racial dimension had also featured in the original complaint and now resurfaces with a witness account attached.

As for the current professional status of those involved, Rana no longer works at JP Morgan and is now a principal at the investment firm Bregal Sagemount. Hajdini remains employed by JP Morgan. On a separate note, unwanted conduct allegations in professional settings have surfaced in several recent high-profile cases, including a Pacers couple’s account of Shaq’s conduct during a live television interview, which sparked its own debate about boundaries.

Through her attorney, Hajdini has provided a clear response to the latest developments: “Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.” As of May 5, 2026 at 3:43 PM, neither Hajdini nor JP Morgan had provided further comment on the refiled lawsuit.
