How’s that for an April Fools joke?  The third installment of the Battlefield 3 Fault Line series is anything but underwhelming.  The latest video showcases what seemingly are going to be some new inclusions to the single player portion of the game.  While DICE hasn’t really spoken about these new elements to the game, it looks like there’s definitely going to be hand to hand combat even if performed through quick time events.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Battlefield without the large scale battles, vehicles, and explosions galore and this trailer’s got those as well.  Be on the lookout for the full Fault Line reveal wrapped up into a nice 12 minute feature coming on April 17th.

Battlefield 3 is scheduled for a Fall release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
