San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing and with it comes all kinds of news ranging from comics, to television, to movies and even gaming news with big properties such as the Lord Of The Rings/Middle-Earth franchises. Now news which was timed with the convention shows that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor will one week ahead of it’s previously announced release date.

Release date push-ups are few and far between in this industry and it’s nice to hear when one does get pushed up. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor allows players to become Talion who loses everything only to be resurrected to carry out a personal vendetta around the same time that Sauron returns to Middle-Earth. The trailer below, which was also released today showcases The Bright Lord. The trailer also reveals some story elements including the Wraith that accompanies Talion along his adventure. The trailer also reveals the connection between Talion and the Rings Of Power and the connection the story will have with The Dark Lord, Sauron. Check out the two minute trailer below.

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor is now set to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 30th in North America and October 2nd everywhere else.
