sonyplaystation‘s official YouTube account uploaded a new video today, which can be seen above, showing off brief trailers of the PlayStation Plus offerings for December. In case you missed it, I listed all the free games and discounts in an article, yesterday. Here’s a short synopsis for anyone that doesn’t yet know;

  • PS4: Resogun
  • PS4: Contrast
  • PS4: Trine 2 – (20% off)
  • PS4: Super Motherload – (10% off)
  • PS4: Assasin’s Creed 4: Black Flag – (free ship figurehead)
  • PS3: Grid 2
  • PS3: Guacamelee!
  • PS Vita: Guacamelee!
  • PS Vita: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
  • PS Vita: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

Of course; today, or tonight rather, has extra special meaning for Sony which would explain the PlayStation Plus trailer. It marks the release of the PS4 in European markets, as 29/11 is finally upon us. American gamers won’t particularly care, but for any Europeans that have had to suffer watching videos and reading reviews of PS4 games for two weeks (or listened to their friends brag about their Xbox Ones) this will be a special day.

The next-generation of consoles will have finally hit all major markets, though gamers in Norway, Russia, Finland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, or Sweden may disagree with that statement. Those are the 8 regions that the Xbox One hasn’t launched in yet, but were included in the originally announced 21 markets in case you weren’t aware.
