Bandai Namco is teasing something new, but with a somewhat familiar slogan that they’ve used in the past. Â Their getting ready to unveil a new game on April 20th using the slogan “Prepare to Dine.” Â Somewhat similar to the one they used with the Souls’ games in “Prepare to Die.”
There’s not to the short trailer, other than it’s looking perhaps vampire related. Â The tagline makes you want to think that perhaps this is a new game from From Software. Â If not, that’s pretty low to ride in on their coat tails. Â The trailer does have the distinct “taste” of something From Software would make.
You’ve got a bonfire and a big bad, what more do you need? Â Following the release of The Ringed City downloadable content for Dark Souls 3, Miyazaki said that From Software was moving on from the Souls series to a new project so this probably isn’t Dark Souls 4 if it is in fact a From Software title.
I guess we’ll find out on April 20th.
