I see dinosaurs, personally.

Original Modern Warfare creators will release new game in 2013

Respawn Entertainment, you know, basically the guys responsible for Modern Warfare 1&2, will be releasing their first title from their new studio in 2013.  It's been almost two years since the scandal broke between Activision and the former heads of Infinity Ward Studios.  Since then, the duo of Jason West and Vince Zampella moved on to form Respawn Entertainment under the EA umbrella.

When the company formally launched its official website, they teased a very blurry image, and have revealed that the title will be based in the realm of sci-fi shooters.  Rumor has it that a leaked marketing schedule for Electronic Arts points to the 2013 release window for the new shooter.  The two heads of the studio are in-part responsible for the Call of Duty sales explosion that took off with Modern Warfare 1.

Those that don't follow game news day to day, might not even know who these two fellows are, so their names attached to the project aren't a sure fire success.  But if the rumors hold true, we'll get a chance to see if the development chops still hold true with Respawn's first offering in 2013.

That does kind of look like a dinosaur. That thing on the left side looks like a castle tower too.

    the plot thickens…

nah, definately looks post apocalyptic or something similar. the left looks like a building with the thing in the middle looking like some kind of cylindrical warehouse with a post coming from the top. there looks to be a lake in the background so it could be some sort of harbor?

      It has…….balconies.
Plus look at the ground. You can see a wall near the tower. My bet is on a castle, or at least a fort of some kind.

      I agree about the lake.

That tall thing is an alien thing perhaps?

And what are those vertical things near the mystery object to the right?

the possibility of a castle is highly improbable given the types of games infinity ward and respawn made. it looks like some kind of industrial zone.

For all the idiots that think that Jason West and Vince Zampella are selling out to EA, they’re are just going back to where they started. West and Zampella had originally worked on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, before leaving and founding Infinity Ward. Google it.

They did the MoHs before AA too didn’t they? They were the reason MoH was so good.

Yup, AIRFREAK is correct. Infinity Ward is (or was) mainly composed of employees who migrated from the developer, 2015 Inc. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was developed by the seemingly one-hit wonder 2015 Inc. – that is, until 22 developers left 2015 to create Infinity Ward.

I guess it might be MoH 2. I hope Dice is making Mirrior edge 2 instead of MoH 2. So IW can work with MoH 2. I love Dice’s fps games but dice’s military fps games are so already getting old. They need something fresh and new.

Mirrior edge 2 would be perfect for Dice. I love mirrior edge but lacking of open world, kinda short story, lacking of multiplayer. If they make these features for mirrior edge 2. So they might have chance to win a goty.

If anybody needs something fresh and new it’s IW. what’s changed in any of their games? nothing. they repackage a couple things and call it new or innovated.

west and zampella left shortly after mw2. none of the recent cods are their faults.
