‘Stop Fussing With Your Hair’: Martin Sheen Tells Trump To Get In Touch With His Humanity During Scathing Monologue

Martin Sheen just told Trump to stop being Trump on live TV.

Actor Martin Sheen gave strong criticism of President Trump. The 85-year-old Hollywood star showed up on anchor Nicolle Wallace’s podcast called The Best People and used the time to share his thoughts about the president’s behavior and how he leads.

As per NY Post, during the show, Sheen made direct comments to Trump. He told the president to try to be more human and to stop listening to the people around him who he said were pushing him to act badly. The actor said that Trump should change the way he looks and acts in public.

In his words, Sheen told Trump to “stop fussing with your hair, don’t worry about your tie, and stand up straight and speak clearly, not from your throat.” He then said, “Speak from your heart and start being human. That’s what you were made for – not golf.” Sheen made his comments in a sarcastic way, saying “So there you are, Mr. President, with all due respect, sir.”

Sheen Goes After Trump’s Cabinet Too

Sheen also talked about the people working in Trump’s cabinet. He said bad things about the group of people working in the White House, saying they cared too much about power and what he called “false worship.” According to Sheen, all of the cabinet members think they are better than the other people at the table.

The actor said that the cabinet room was missing important things. He said, “So there’s no heroes in there, there’s no music, there’s no laughter, there’s no self-effacement, there’s no joy in that room.” Sheen added that the air in the room “smells of ego and fear and false worship.” He said the group did not care about the good human values that matter most.

Sheen has been speaking out against Trump for a long time now. Back in 2021, the actor called Trump a “bum” and a “hustler.” He also said the president was selfish and told lies. This is part of a bigger picture of Trump making controversial statements about free speech and the First Amendment, which has gotten the attention of many people in the media and beyond.

Sheen is famous for acting in movies like Apocalypse Now from 1979 and Wall Street from 1987. He is also well known for playing a fake Democratic president on the TV show The West Wing.

During the 2024 race for president, Sheen backed Joe Biden. After Biden quit the race, Sheen decided to support Kamala Harris when she ran against Trump. The White House did not say anything about what Sheen said.
