Trump just ordered the DOJ to investigate some very powerful people over their Epstein ties, and the list of names are explosive

That’s a Uno-Reverse move!

President Trump said that he wants Attorney General Pam Bondi to look into how convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was connected to several well-known Democrats. This announcement came after new documents about Epstein caused a big stir in Washington this week.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he thinks Democrats have been using Epstein to attack his administration. He said Democrats are trying to take attention away from their own failures by bringing up Epstein’s connections to people in Trump’s circle.

According to The Hill, Trump just ordered the DOJ to investigate some very powerful people over their Epstein ties, saying he will ask Bondi and the Justice Department to look into how Epstein was involved with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan Chase, and many others. He wants to find out what kind of relationships these people had with Epstein.

Trump is looking for dirt

This whole situation got heated because House Democrats put out some emails on Wednesday. Those emails showed Epstein telling people that Trump definitely knew about his involvement with underage girls. Epstein also claimed Trump spent a lot of time at his house. These emails came from papers released from Epstein’s estate earlier in the week.

Next week, the House will vote on a bill that would force the government to make public every file they have about Epstein. This vote is happening because Democrats got enough signatures on a petition to force it. They reached the magic number of 218 signatures when a new congresswoman from Arizona, Adelita Grijalva, got sworn in. Speaker Mike Johnson decided to hold the vote next week rather than waiting until December.

Trump listed out specific people he wants investigated in his message. Larry Summers used to be Treasury secretary when Clinton was president and later worked as an economic adviser for Obama. Reid Hoffman started LinkedIn and gives a lot of money to Democratic campaigns. Trump also wants investigators to look at the bank J.P. Morgan Chase and how it was connected to Epstein.

This whole mess has split people even in Trump’s own supporter base. Both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert signed the petition asking for all the Epstein files to be released. The White House has tried to defend Trump by saying Democrats are only sharing parts of emails that make him look bad.

One email from 2011 had Epstein writing that Clinton never went to his private island. But Trump says records prove that many of these people spent a lot of time with Epstein and visited his island. Even if the House passes this bill, it probably will not become an actual law because getting it through the Senate looks unlikely.
