Ukrainian journalist approaches 22-year-old woman in Paris and asks heartbreaking question, then reveals whose daughter she allegedly is

It was a tense conversation.

Vladimir Putin’s alleged secret daughter, Luiza Rozova, has publicly apologised for her father’s war in Ukraine after being confronted by a Ukrainian journalist on the street. The emotional encounter took place just weeks after the journalist’s brother was killed in a Russian airstrike. Rozova’s apology was brief and cautious, but the moment quickly gained attention due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding it.

According to the NY Post, the emotional moment happened on the streets of Paris. Rozova, who is 22 years old, was filmed by journalist Dmytro Sviatnenko, who works for a Ukrainian news outlet. Sviatnenko had a painful reason for approaching her. Just three weeks earlier, his brother Volodymyr, a drone pilot, was killed in a Russian airstrike.

Throughout the brief exchange, Rozova muttered an apology but was careful to emphasise that she bore no blame for the violence in Ukraine. She claimed she had no ability to influence the Kremlin or intervene in the war. With her face mostly hidden behind a mask and a bodyguard hovering close by, she seemed anxious about the confrontation. When Sviatnenko refused to lower his camera, her tone sharpened and she demanded that he stop filming her.

Rozova apologized but denied having any responsibility

Rozova did apologize for the pain caused by the war. She told the journalist, “I’m really sorry that this is happening.” But then she added, “Unfortunately, I’m not responsible for this situation.” It’s hard to hear someone deny responsibility when the person in front of them just lost their brother.

Sviatnenko made sure Rozova understood the connection between her family and his loss. He told her directly, “Three weeks ago, your father killed my brother.” He then asked if she supported her father’s invasion. The ongoing conflict has also raised questions about how Ukraine’s leadership handles international business dealings.

The journalist didn’t stop there. He challenged her to use whatever influence she might have. Sviatnenko said, “At the very least, you could call him right now and say, ‘Dad, stop shelling Kyiv.'”

Rozova’s response was short and dismissive. She simply asked, “What does that have to do with me?” Sviatnenko replied, “Well, he’s your father.” Meanwhile, Trump’s approach to Ukraine’s military aid has added another layer of complexity to the situation.

Luiza Rozova is believed to be Putin’s daughter with his former mistress, Svetlana Krivonogikh. Krivonogikh started out as a cleaner but reportedly became a multimillionaire. Rozova is sometimes also known publicly as Elizaveta Krivonogikh.
