A TikTok video is going viral after showing a secret Las Vegas hotel hidden behind a plain gate. The hotel is only for very rich guests. TikTok user George Barragan posted the video, showing what he called the “most prestige hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.”
According to Bro Bible, the video has over 2.7 million views. It shows Barragan driving down the bright Las Vegas Strip before turning into what looks like a regular alley. He reaches a simple gate that opens to show a fancy mansion hidden away from the busy casinos. Barragan says, “It’s good to be home, baby,” hinting that he stays there often.
The hidden spot is called The Mansion at MGM Grand. A single night at this hotel costs between $5,000 and $15,000. Some reports say prices can go above $25,000 during busy times. The high price exists because the hotel is extremely exclusive.
The extreme pricing reflects its invitation-only exclusivity
Stays at The Mansion are mainly invite-only. The property is made for high rollers who spend millions gambling or for big celebrity guests. Some people online say you might be able to book a villa directly through MGM, but you would still need a huge budget.
The Mansion is massive at 290,000 square feet. It has 29 private Garden and Atrium Villas. The villas are not small rooms. They range from 2,400 square feet to 12,000 square feet. Every single villa has its own indoor pool. Social media continues to reveal hidden luxury spots, much like police responding to controversial Facebook posts that sparked public debate recently.
Many people are not impressed with how the rooms actually look. One person shared on TikTok, “Stayed there so many times growing up because my parents were slot machine players, definitely not most prestige at all they ‘randomly’ select ppl for comp upgrades or stays based on your casino playings to this day we get stuff in the mail to stay here for super cheap lol most people staying there are spending regular price for the rooms and are comp upgrades lol.”
Others pointed out the hotel is easier to access than before. One commenter wrote, “The Mansions at the MGM. No longer that prestigious. Used to have to be invited to stay there. You can also access it from the casino floor, hallway to the right of the diner next to Starbucks.”
A former limo driver explained the property has lost some of its appeal. They said, “MGM mansions. Far from a secret. I was a limo driver back in the day, had a remote to open those gates. It’s nice. But very old. There’s way nicer places now. The Encore suites entrance where the whole hidden wall opens up, that’s a sik property. As far as I know you can’t even pay to stay there. That’s how the mansions used to be.”
For luxury customers dissatisfied with service, some have found success calling companies for authorized compensation options. The comments suggest The Mansion may not hold the same prestige it once did. Many guests now receive complimentary stays based on their gambling activity rather than exclusive invitations. The secret location appears to be well-known among regular Las Vegas visitors.
