GTA V Online is almost here, are you excited?

GTA V is an incredible game. Even if you’re not a fan of it, which I doubt because you’re reading an article on it, you have to accept this as fact because it made $1 billion within just 3 days of it’s release earlier this month. This meant that it became the quickest media property to reach this landmark ever, faster than any game, song, album, TV show or film. And now GTA V Online, the multiplayer update for Rockstar’s open-world epic, is going to release tomorrow.

For those that haven’t already scoured the internet for every last detail on GTA V Online, here’s Attack of the Fanboy’s coverage of what to expect from launch. It goes into detail about what will be included when the update drops tomorrow, such as 16-player worlds, Reputation and various activities. But, as our article mentions, not everything will be included. Heists, Capture the Flag and the Content Creator will be coming in later (free) updates, while it also says to expect teething issues such as glitches, bugs and crashes.

Putting these issues aside though, its no secret that a lot of the people who bought GTA V were interested solely, or mainly, in the online multiplayer patch. In fact, Microsoft posted a report back in 2009, which can be found on Gamasutra, that showed that less than 30% of gamers actually finished GTA IV’s campaign. Imagine how few will finish GTA V’s campaign, especially considering it’s vastly increased size and the tantalizing online multiplayer mode that comes out on October 1st. Did I mention that was tomorrow?

So, anyway, I want to hear from you, the public. Tell me in the comments down below what your plans are for GTA V Online. Will you form a clan with your friends and ride around town robbing every place you can? Or maybe you’ll engage in some harmless sports competitions. Maybe you’re too busy playing FIFA 14, whatever your plans are for tomorrow, tell us in the comments section.

Rockstar expects GTA Online to launch at 7am EDT on October 1st.
