The release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may have been leaked from a recent article.
An article from The Guardian revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on March 17th, 2015. The article has been edited now just saying it would be an “Early 2015” release date instead. GamesReviews took a screenshot showing the original article.
This is interesting news since Konami has not hinted of any release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain yet. They didn’t even announce a 2015 release for the game either. A March 17th, 2015 seems likely as this would mean the game comes out around a year after Ground Zeroes. Release dates for games are hard to pinpoint these days. For all we know, Konami could delay production for the game and we might see it release in 2016. Hopefully that doesn’t happen, but so many other video games have had production delays recently.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the true game that will blow everyone’s minds. Ground Zeroes was only a prologue for what was to come. Phantom Pain promises to be much bigger and better since it’s a proper full game.
