If you’re a PlayStation Move junkie, you may be excited to find out that incorportation of Move controls are being considered for Battlefield 3. Karl Magnus Troedsson of DICE, recently explained that the developer is closely looking into the support of the motion controller, as well as the incorportation of the 3D displays in the game.
When asked by Offical PlayStation Magazine about the possibility of incorporating the popular motion control features of the PlayStation Move, Troedsson replied : “We are thinking about it, yes, definitely”.
In the same feature within the magazine the art director for the game, Gustav Tilleby also noted:
“Of course we look at what the others are doing. At the same time, we’re looking at what we can improve. I think the technology we have is a step beyond what the others have.”
While none of these features have been officially confirmed for the PlayStation version of Battlefield 3, it’s nice to know that they are still on the table. Battlefield 3 is scheduled for a release this Fall on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
