Jin Kazama has now been officially confirmed for Tekken 7, although the character is not playable just yet.
The arcade version of Tekken 7 is regularly getting updates and more characters are being added in. It looks like the most recent update has added Jin Kazama to the game, although he’s still not playable just yet.
Tekken 7 director, Katsuhiro Harada, tweeted the following:
“Jin is secret CPU sub-boss”
EventHubs posted more information about Tekken 7 being a secret boss in Tekken 7. He will appear as a sub-boss in Stage 4 of the arcade mode. He might only appear for some characters. If you are playing as Kazuya, you might see Jin.
Harada did mention the conditions to meet Jin in Tekken 7 are hard and obscure at the moment. If you can play the arcade version of the game, you might have to play the game several times until you will see him at Stage 4.
The fact that Jin is in Tekken 7 will put a smile on everyone’s faces. It’s just sad fans won’t get to play as him yet in the arcade version. Bandai Namco is likely to release another update that will make him playable later this year. As for the console version, he will be playable but you may have to unlock him first.
