Disney Infinity 3.0 was officially announced earlier this morning and is set to feature quite a few new characters for fans. Namely those of the Star Wars universe.
As announced earlier today, Disney Infinity 3.0 will feature three Star Wars themed playsets, Twilight of the Republic which features characters and story elements from Episodes 1-3 that can be played with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Darth Maul. Then there is Rise Against the Empire, which is set during the original trilogy and featuers Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. Yes, Vader, calm down. Finally, there is the Star Wars: The Force Awakens playset which was just only announced and will release this winter to coincide with the feature film.
Now Star Wars might be the most exciting thing to 3.0 but that doesn’t mean it is the only new addition. New set of Disney characters are coming with Pixar’s Inside Out, with all five Emotions and Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Sam Flynn, Quorra and Olaf. Marvel fans will also have some Age Of Ultron action going on with Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ultron and more to be announced for Marvel fans. Check out the announcement trailer below.
Of course fans will also enjoy new Toy Box games that will be coming with 3.0 and plenty more stuff to be announced.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is set to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo Wii U this fall.
