Halo 5: Guardians is one of the most hyped games of the year and without a doubt will be the biggest Microsoft system seller this Holiday Season. The Halo series has always been known for having superb music and with a release only a few weeks ago, samples of the game’s soundtrack are now available for listening.
Coming straight from Amazon’s digital music collection, the entire soundtrack of 39 songs for Halo 5: Guardians can be sampled easily right now, which is split across what would be two discs in the physical release.
Each one of these songs can be sampled in 30 second clips, so you can really get a sense of the direction that the series is going with their music. This time the series has a new overall director to replace Neil Davidge.
This new composer is Kazumi Jinnouchi, as we already knew, who worked on a few tracks on Halo 4 already. Based on these quick clips, he seems to have the sound of the series down quite well, though it obviously is hard to judge on a short sample and without the game as a backdrop for it.
Also, considering we have all of the track names here, one might be concerned that there would be spoilers found within. However, 343 Industries’ Frank O’Connor, aka Stinkles on NeoGAF, posted to say that wasn’t the case and that they are careful to avoid that happening.
Halo 5: Guardians will release exclusively for Xbox One on October 27.
