Sony has announced the date and time that you can watch their press conference at next week’s CES 2016 event. While their CES press conferences have been hit and miss when it comes to video game related announcements, there may be some more details about their upcoming PlayStation VR.

On the Sony blog, it was revealed you can watch their CES 2016 press conference from January 5th, 5pm PST. The link provided in the blog has a video embedded so bookmark it so you can watch the event live as it unfolds next week.

Here’s a small description of what they have in store: “Our latest, greatest products will be unveiled at CES in Las Vegas. Please visit the Sony site on January 5, 2016 to see the exciting new releases.”

Sony will be showing several non-video game related products, although the one thing that will interest gamers is the PlayStation VR headset. It will be interesting to see what Sony announces at CES 2016 regarding the new hardware. Right now, many people would like to know a release date and price for it.

It’s rumored that the Oculus Rift might have a price and release date first. We’ll just have to wait and see. All VR manufacturers need to find a price range that won’t scare away potential buyers.
